The Lixiang i8 was officially launched on July 29. Positioned as a six-seater family-friendly pure electric SUV, it will be equipped with 5C ternary lithium batteries, dual-motor intelligent four-wheel drive, and LiDAR as standard across the range.

From the latest official pictures, we can see that the new car will be equipped with a white flat-bottomed steering wheel, a large-size central control screen + co-pilot screen connected screen design, HUD head-up display and streaming rearview mirror, etc.

The Ideal i8 features a more dynamic, low-drag front design, while its rear end is similar to the Ideal L series. Dimensionally, its length, width, and height are 5085mm, 1960mm, and 1740mm, respectively, with a wheelbase of 3050mm, placing it in the mid-to-large SUV category. i8 4

In terms of power, the Ideal i8 comes standard with a dual-motor four-wheel drive system, with the maximum power of the front and rear motors being 150kW and 250kW respectively. In addition, the new car will also be the first to be equipped with a 5C ternary lithium battery. According to previous information, it will provide two ternary lithium battery packs of 90.1kWh and 97.8kWh, with a range of 670km and 720km respectively.
